Submersible Pumps, Pressure Tanks & Service

Keen Well and Pump utilizes only top-quality components in your water well system. We are a conservative company that is more concerned about the long-term performance of a particular well system component rather than if it's the "latest and greatest" new techno-gadget.

Most name brand pumps manufacture different "series" or "lines" of pumps (for example, not all pumps are of the same quality, and each have different specifications).  We use only "top of the line" stainless steel pump, with a Franklin Electric motor.  For years, Franklin Electric motors have been proven in the field.  Most generally we offer the Schaefer, Legend Series.  In some instances, the best fit may be a Gould's, Myers, or Grundfos.  Be assured we will only use the very best pump available for your application.

Our drop pipe (the pipe that your pump hangs on in the well) is heavy duty Schedule 80 PVC pipe. We will not use the continuous length black coiled pipe for your drop pipe, because it stretches and weakens over time. We also use stabilizers on each section of pipe to eliminate pump wire damage due to rubbing on the side of the casing and bore hole. Additionally, we install backup check valves in the well and at the pressure tank to keep your drop pipe and pressure tank full of water.

Industry leader Flex-con provides the best pressure tank in the industry today. Their plastic lined, steel tank with a butyl rubber diaphragm has unmatched performance and reliability. Fiberglass tanks with plastic bag diaphragms are far too problematic for us to consider using in your well.

As with pumps, tank manufactures also offer different "series" or "lines" of tanks.  Most generally we offer the Flex-con, "top-of-the-line" Well-Rite Series.  This tank is ANSI/NSF Standard 61 approved, and offers a welded, stainless steel water connection.  This tank also offers a stainless steel elbow, a stainless steel port diffuser, a controlled action diaphragm, along with a five year limited warranty.

When we install your pressure tank, we will not use galvanized fittings. They rust and corrode in just a few years. Keen utilizes only brass fittings to give you a lifetime of corrosion resistance and reliability.

At Keen, we service what we sell ... now, and in the future. But, we do not wish to build our business upon repeated service calls to your home. Frankly, the next time we want to hear from you is when you need a new well drilled. Until then, we want you to remain a satisfied customer with a rock-solid reliable water well system.
